Interpretations differ greatly from translations, whereas in interpretations we handle spoken language in real-time.

Interpretations are divided into three categories: simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation and whispered interpretation.

Simultaneous interpretation

Simultaneous interpretation refers to interpreting at the same time what the speaker says into the foreign language in real time. The interpreter is working in a soundproof booth (cabin) and listens via headphones as the speaker transmits. The audience, also via headphones, follows the speech. This is the only possible solution if we have listeners traveling from different countries. One of the most difficult tasks a translator can undertake, as it requires excellent knowledge of the working language and excellent concentration. Interpretation lasting more than 20 minutes is usually not possible, so at least two interpreters are required, rotating in succession.

Consecutive interpretation

The interpreter is asked to translate what the speaker has already said, when the speaker starts speaking and gives the interpreter time to translate what he or she has already said. In this case, two interpreters are not required. This is customary in commercial transactions.

Whispered interpretation

Under some circumstances and for short periods of time, an interpreter may translate simultaneously, whispering to a maximum of one or two listeners who are close by.

Among the types of interpreting that our agency is able to undertake are the following:
